Geometry Review

​This 5-session program will help review key topics from Geometry that will provide a better understanding before students take/retake the Geometry Regents Exam.
Topics include:
1) Relationships in Triangles and Congruent Triangles
2) Similar Triangles and Trigonometry
3) Quadrilaterals, Transformations, and Symmetry
4) Circles
5) Volume and Surface Area
Algebra 1 Review

This 5-session program will help review key topics from Algebra 1 that will help students take/retake the Algebra 1 Regents Exam.

Success Strategies: Study Skills That Work

​Melanie’s Study Skills program teaches students how to study smarter and feel more in control of their learning. This program focuses on organization, time management, note-taking, test prep, and academic habits that build confidence. Melanie works with students in grades 4–12 to help them develop the strategies they need to succeed across all subjects.
Regents Preparation for the August Exams

Melanie’s Regents Readiness program helps students review and prepare for the August exams with targeted support and test-taking strategies. With experience supporting students in ELA, Algebra, Earth Science, and more, Melanie focuses on building content understanding, confidence, and stamina. Each session includes practice questions, review of essential topics, and personalized instruction.

This program offers creative, high-interest activities in reading, writing, and other subjects tailored to each student’s strengths and interests. Melanie brings over two decades of teaching experience and supports students in expanding their skills in a fun, engaging way.

Melanie’s Course Jumpstart program helps students prepare for the upcoming school year with confidence. This program reviews key skills from the previous grade and introduces essential concepts from the next, allowing students to enter their new classes feeling ready and supported. Melanie has over 20 years of experience and works with students in all subjects, helping them get a strong academic start.
Literacy Launchpad:
Building Strong Readers from PreK–12

Melanie’s Reading Readiness program supports students in grades PreK–12 by building a strong foundation in the five pillars of literacy: phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension. Each session is tailored to the student’s individual needs, whether they are just beginning to read or working to strengthen core literacy skills. With over 20 years of teaching experience, Melanie provides engaging, structured support to help students become confident, capable readers at any stage of their academic journey.
Summer Reading Refresh

Get your child ready for the new school year with a fun and engaging boost to their reading and phonics skills! Led by Amy, an educator with over 20 years of experience, this program offers a fun and enriching environment where learning comes to life. Each day will be filled with games, hands-on activities, and interactive reading adventures designed to refresh their learning and build confidence for a successful start to school. Plus, every child will take home practical tips, strategies, and materials to continue strengthening their reading skills at home. For students entering 1st and 2nd grade. Location: Ballston Lake / Time: 9:00 – 10:30 AM / Session 1: Tuesday, August 19 & Thursday, August 21 / Session 2: Tuesday, August 26 & Thursday, August 28 / Cost: $120 per session
